Overwhelmed doesn’t have to be your new normal.
When you’re feeling overwhelmed, you need someone who will understand how much you are carrying and who you can trust to hold your story with kindness and compassion, so you can gently explore the pain underneath it all, process it, and figure out what you want in your life.
Like most women, you’ve probably had difficult experiences in your life that you haven’t had the opportunity to process. You might feel like past experiences are weighing you down, or that stress is starting to get out of control in your life. Even if you’re not sure exactly how therapy would help, you might have started thinking that you need to talk to someone. Someone who gets it.
With individual therapy, you will have a space that is entirely safe to explore whatever you need to, on your own terms. We will look together at how your experiences have shaped the woman you are today, what you want to be different in your life, and how you can move forward in the direction you want to go.
MY APPROACH
Hi, I’m Mel
I’m a mental health occupational therapist specialising in working with women at all stages of life.
I believe that women deserve to be seen, heard and understood. I know that women carry more than their fair share in our society, and often blame themselves when they feel overwhelmed by the weight of it all. I believe that women deserve to have safe and trusting relationships in which they can explore the difficult experiences of their lives, and that therapy can provide a way to do that.
Through individual therapy, I can help you gently explore difficult experiences from your past, understand where you are in the present, and move forward in your life with renewed insight and self assurance.
